FAQ’s

What is Semi Permanent Make-up?

Semi permanent make-up is a technique to enhance your natural beauty. It is the implantation of a pigment suspended into the dermis layer of the skin, instead of on the top layer like traditional make – up.

How long does it last?

Semi permanent make-up will last up to 5 years (This is variable depending upon clients age, skin type, colour choice & lifestyle.) After your first procedure we recommend you have a top up after a 5 week period as the pigment will fade after your first application. After your top up you will stay beautiful for years.

Who benefits from this treatment?

  • Men & women of all ages.
  • Anyone who applies their make up every day & wants to save time.
  • Allergy sufferers who react to conventional cosmetic products.
  • Athletes, swimmers & those who regularly take part in sporting activities.
  • People with poor eyesight who wear contact lenses or glasses.
  • People who wish to correct certain facial asymetrics.
  • People suffering from alopecia (loss of body hair).
  • Women with shaky hands or physically handicapped.
What can be done?
  • Eyebrows – too fair, patchy or balding. Too low, drooping or badly positioned. Lack of eyebrows.
  • Lips (Lip liner or full colour) – Lips too thin/thick, badly or undefined outline.
  • Lips too pale, scars resulting from accident.
  • Eyeliner – When lashes are too fair, for a deeper seductive look, when lashes are scant or lacking.
  • Alopecia (hair loss) – To create the illusion of hairs.

What will I be like after my procedure?

Absolutely fine, for about 2-4 hours the area will feel slightly swollen, but don’t worry if swelling lasts
longer. The pigmentation will appear darker & more intense, this lasts for 5-7 days.

Does permanent cosmetic hurt?

It does depend on the individuals tolerance level but it is not painful. You will experience minor discomfort.
Anaesthetic is used to minimise any discomfort you may have.
